I own a portable Starlab planetarium that I like to take to schools and other groups to do star shows. I have helped several students prepare to take or retake math Regents' exams; including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig, and the common core exams. I begin by assessing the student's areas of strength and weakness by using previous Regents' exams. I then focus on helping them strengthen their weak areas by bringing practice work for them to do. Just before they take or retake the exam, we go over and review a previous exam to give them a bit more practice.

Jody took a last minute call from my son for some extra help on a weekday evening to prepare for an upcoming exam. She worked with him for an hour-and-a-half, leaving with my son feeling much more confident for the upcoming test.
