BFA Savannah College of Art and Design (Photography)
As an Environmental Portrait & Travel Photographer with each project I take on I set out to capture the soul & spirit of the everyday characters that inhabit our world. Telling their story with the help of the subjects everyday surroundings, including the people, animals, objects and landscapes. Through my passion for photography, my genuine curiosity and the the use of rich and bold narratives I create imagery that tells a story for my editorial, advertising and fine art clients.
Also currently teach photography at the Art Institute of Charleston and working with students to learn basic and advanced skills in using a camera, composition, lighting, lightroom and photoshop.
Formerly the photographer and photo-archivist for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA & Muni). I visually documented the agency’s people, transit vehicles, events and the changing landscape of San Francisco’s streets. As the photo-archivist for the SFMTA Photo Archive I managed and lead a team of amazing people who tackled a massive preservation project of original Muni and United Railroads negatives and prints. Through the use of multiple social media campaigns nearly 40,000 of the approximate 200,000 images of San Francisco’s transit history have been released into public view. Among those campaigns was Treasures from the Muni Archive, a first of it’s kind multi-media show that brought site mapped images to bus shelters throughout the city and linked them to our Historypin site, showing images taken over the past century at their original locations in neighborhoods. I worked closely on with our in-house designer to bring to the streets of San Francisco and to anyone in the world with a connection to the internet.
A recipient of a Blue Earth Alliance grant for my work with the Lowcountry Shrimpers and numerous AdWheel Awards for her work with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
I have experience with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Photography, Lighting, Composition

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
