Georgia College (Mathematics)
I am a faculty biostatistician at MUSC, in the department of public health sciences. I went to graduate school for biostatistics at MCG in Augusta, GA and undergraduate school for pure mathematics at Georgia College in Milledgeville. Working toward both degrees, I tutored upper level mathematics and statistics courses through the universities. Nowadays, I occasionally tutor on the side through Wyzant. My availability is limited but I try to be flexible and help when I can- I'm way more flexible if meeting at the Starbucks on Coleman is an option.
I have taken calculus (I,II, III), typology (I,II, III), linear algebra (I,II), algebraic geometry (I,II), real analysis, abstract algebra, differential equations, graph theory, and graduate-level statistics and biostatistics courses. A minimum of an hour meeting per session. For a group rate, it's $20 per additional student and an additional 30min extra on the minimum time.
He taught me how to do an multiple regression analysis in excel and how to determine what the P-andT-values means in statistics. He was very patient and knowledgeable.

I was very nervous, but he made me feel ok with needing extra help with stats. I wish I had met him much earlier in the course. He is really good. Will use him again.
Very helpful and easy to contact. I will be using him in the future for any of my biostatistics needs.
He was able to teach my wife her math and she has a much better understanding on how do work on her college math. His service was invaluable.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
