2016 marks my 13th year as an instructor at a major corporation in South Carolina. I teach adults on how to use systems and administer tests to verify comprehension. I serve as a company wide facilitator to deliver company policies and procedures. In 2010, I was crowned as a DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) in Public Speaking and Leadership. Volunteerism is a noble task that I perform for the city of Columbia. I have done workshops for the City of Columbia "Save the Children" program and I currently work in District 5 schools to teach Elementary students by way of the JA (Junior Achievement) Program.
I am a former Teacher's Aid and always look for opportunities to assist students with learning and education. I must say that students do well with me due to my ability to relate to students and have a good listening ear for their needs. In 2015, I tutored a failing Midlands Tech Student who is now on the Dean's list. He adhered to my mentoring as a mentee and did extremely well.
I have a Masters Degree in Social Work as well as a minor in psychology from my undergraduate program.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
