As a student at South Carolina State University I obtained an M.A.T. in Education. I am currently a certified biology teacher at a local High School. In college I had an opportunity to obtain many different profession, but I choose teaching based my upbringing and undergrad years. My parents had the biggest influence me becoming a teacher. As a child had many encounters with my parents former students, and they would tell me stories on how my parents made a difference in their lives. These stories gave me a sense of satisfaction and purpose on what to do for a career. Most of public education and first year in college I struggle make exceptional grades. I struggle to make exceptional grades until I meet a professor named Micheal G. Colemen. He saw my struggles and took the time out of his schedule to make sure that I understand and pass the class with an respectable grade.
I love every aspect of biology to ecology. As a teacher prefer to teach biology using different teaching strategies mainly using kinetics or providing authentic examples.
