I have had the privilege to teach many subjects with many age groups beginning with K-12 as well as Master level University classes. I love teaching. The best part about teaching for me is working with the students. But I must say that working with ESL students has been my favorite group of students. The drive I have seen from an ESL student has been phenomenal. I love working with driven students.
I have taught TOEFL classes and have prepared students for the SAT & ACT.
I have prepared students for their GED tests as an instructional aid.
My career began in business then transitioned into education where I have had the privilege of working in a career that I love. It shows through the connections I make every day as a teacher.
I now work part time as an online facilitator for the University of Phoenix with other Career and Technical Education teachers across the country. I taught 10 years in a diverse high schools. I also have worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 for schools in different states. My teaching experience demonstrates my appreciation for diversity. I believe I gain just as much if not more than my students when I have the opportunity to work with them. I love hearing about their unique perspectives.
I would love the privilege of helping you work towards your next educational goal.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I taught Adobe and Microsoft Office as a Career and Technical Education Teacher for 10+ years.
I am qualified to teach writing because I facilitate master level classes on line for the University of Phoenix. Proper writing skills are essential for this job. I have also developed the ability to use a polite tone in my writing because I do not have the face to face interaction with students. Additionally, I was honored Cum laude for my bachelor degree in business. The assignments were based on written essays rather than tests during the second half of my bachelor degree.
