What I can offer potential students are my experience with and my respect and love for children and adults in need of assistance with English as a second language, English vocabulary, grammar, and reading. In addition to my Associates of Art Degree from Fashion Institute of Technology, I am two Classes away from an Associate's Degree in Human Services from Greenville Technical College. In each Institution I have loved what I've learned, and achieved exemplary grades.
This past summer, I served my internship for Human Services at the Greenville Literacy Association, where I taught Basic ESL to Students from South and Central America, as well as from several Asian Countries. I found it incredibly rewarding, and am delighted to report that many wonderful relationships were formed between my Students and me. I have a love and respect for all of the helping professions. My resume will indicate that I have extensive experience being employed at and volunteering at working with people. I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering in three Greenville County Chapter I Schools, where I assisted Students with reading and writing. I was employed with Stone Academy for Communication Arts, in their after school program, and I currently am employed by Whole Foods Market, Greenville. When I lived in New York City, I was employed for ten years at a medium sized advertising agency, a business entirely devoted to customer service.
I respect and love children, and anyone who is eager to learn and is in need of assistance. I would love the opportunity to be a Tutor!

For all of my life, I have loved drawing and painting. Art has been my favorite past time since I was a young child. In high school, I chose to be an Art/Music Major, and received free art course awards (one at St. John's University, and one at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, as well as a year's art scholarship at Marymount Manhattan College). After high school, I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City for four years. I majored in Fashion and General Illustration, and maintained a 3.7 grade average throughout all four years. After F.I.T., I did some freelance illustration for about a year, and eventually found work at Warwick Advertising, NYC, in their creative department.
