High school math teacher (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Analytic Geometry) for eleven years. Also have taught college math courses in Basic College Math, Algebra and Transcendental Functions. College professor for 17 years. Have taken doctoral level courses in Statistics and am just beginning the dissertation phase of my Ed.D from the United States Sports Academy (Sport Management). My experience as a basketball coach both in high school and college have helped me be a better math teacher. I have an ability to "break things down" to a more understandable level and have a specific and unique game plan for each student to succeed in math. Over the years of teaching, I have found methods that are most successful in supplementing the textbook instruction, by explaining and illustrating the concepts in simpler and more practical ways.

Great tutor!!!

Dennis went over and beyond to help me with my college geometry class. He was extremely helpful and I was able to finish my class because of him. I highly recommend Dennis if you need help in math!

Amazing tutor!

I have had a few math tutoring sessions with Dennis and so far I couldn't have asked for more in a tutor. He is very patient, easy to contact, and most importantly helps me understand information that my actual teacher made confusing. He tutored me today for a test I'm having soon (which I thought I was going to fail), and I have complete faith that I will do well tomorrow! He made me UNDERSTAND the math. I want people who read this to want this tutor, because he has been teaching for so long that I wouldn't doubt it if he said he had dreams about numbers. By that I just mean he has an amazing grasp on the subject matter that he teaches. Thank you so much for tutoring me!
