I am Daniel! I graduated with honors from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) with a dual degree in both Electrical and Computer Engineering. In college I learned a lot through trial and error. It was so difficult finding someone who was knowledgeable enough to help me. I eventually ran into one tutor who was the absolute best. I learned so much from him and when he left he suggested that I become that him for others. I began helping as many people as I could. I enjoyed seeing individuals finally understand.

I became a tutor and have about 2 years of formal tutoring experience in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Elementary Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and computer programming concepts with my specialty in C. As a dual engineer major these were all very strong points for me.

Prior to tutoring I was a mentor at Clemson for about 3 years where I assisted my mentees with schoolwork as well as helping them navigate through college.

I am currently employed and working in Cyber Security where I actively use Linux, Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript as well as a ton of other languages I am learning everyday. Even as a tutor I admit I do not know it all but I enjoy learning and will do my best to educate on any topics I am not familiar with.

My approach to tutoring consists of getting an understanding of what you know and what we need to focus on. From there I like to work some problems together walking through the concepts. I feel it is better to understand how and why the problem is done the way it is vs. trying to remember the problem. Once we are comfortable doing them together I like for you to do it by yourself and then review it together, going over any issues you may have run into and reinforcing what we went over. I feel repetition is a good way to practice and understand concepts. The more problems you do the more comfortable you are.

Knowledgeable patient tutor.

I was shock to learn more with Daniel than I did with my tutor. Daniel is the real deal and is exceptional if you are a student looking for help with Linux and hacking tools, he is the man you need. I thank you Daniel!

Patient and Accomodating

Daniel accommodated me super last minute and was flexible about me changing times. He was patient throughout our session and took the time to explain topics in a way that made it easier for me to understand. He also sent me relevant articles for further reading. Great tutor!

Awesome tutor!

Daniel is a very quick learner and knowledgeable tutor. I got him for my network protocols class and gained way more than I thought I would. I thought it would be difficult to tutor me because I had nothing but a few slides from my class and no exercise problems to provide. In one session, he has answered all of my questions, showed me the possible types of questions that the professor may ask based on his teaching methods, explained in detail and very patiently all the discussed subjects and even was able to tutor me on unknown subjects while he was researching on them online at the same time. In other words, Daniel is a brilliant top-tier tutor who really gives it his all to prepare you and is ready to challenge himself to learn on the spot, and that, no matter how high-level the subject may be. Also, he is quick to reply and a very nice guy. I will take other sessions with him if needed. Worth. Every. Penny.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor.

Daniel taught me about structures, linked lists, and binary trees. All of these can get complicated fast, but he was able to explain them in multiple ways so I could learn.

Very knowledgeable tutor in C programming especially

Before our meeting, I was completely lost on a problem on a homework assignment for my class that involves C programming. I reached out to Daniel and he responded accordingly. Daniel said he could help understand the assignment and after our meeting, I completely agree. Any questions that I had for Daniel were answered which was amazing because I had a ton of questions. Overall, Daniel was great as a tutor and helped me clear up any questions or concerns I had with my assignment.

Wonderful tutor! Very patient and understanding!

Daniel was very supportive, and I appreciate how flexible he was with arranging our tutoring lesson. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him as he gave me good advice on how to support me with an assignment for my Cybersecurity class. He's very knowledgeable about many cybersecurity-related topics, and I will be sure to be reaching out to him again for additional questions!

Cool and Knowledgeable

I felt good about talking things out with him. It made a difference to all the things I was reading and watching on Youtube and he can explain it in layman's terms. I have not programmed in a while but it was good that he understands how to answer my questions.

Great Teacher

What my Engineering college professor tried to explain in class for 2 hours, Daniel helped me understand in 20 minutes. He has a way to explain complex subject where I can easily comprehend.

Excellent tutor

Daniel is an amazing tutor, he is extremely patient and goes through many resources to help better understand. I would definitely recommend him as I know i can be difficult to teach when it comes to grasping concepts at a normal pace for programming.
