I am Daniel! I graduated with honors from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) with a dual degree in both Electrical and Computer Engineering. In college I learned a lot through trial and error. It was so difficult finding someone who was knowledgeable enough to help me. I eventually ran into one tutor who was the absolute best. I learned so much from him and when he left he suggested that I become that him for others. I began helping as many people as I could. I enjoyed seeing individuals finally...

I became a tutor and have about 2 years of formal tutoring experience in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Elementary Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and computer programming concepts with my specialty in C. As a dual engineer major these were all very strong points for me.
Prior to tutoring I was a mentor at Clemson for about 3 years where I assisted my mentees with schoolwork as well as helping them navigate through college.
My approach to tutoring consists of getting an understanding of what you know and what we need to focus on. From there I like to work some problems together walking through the concepts. I feel it is better to understand how and why the problem is done the way it is vs. trying to remember the problem. Once we are comfortable doing them together I like for you to do it by yourself and then review it together, going over any issues you may have run into and reinforcing what we went over. I feel repetition is a good way to practice and understand concepts. The more problems you do the more comfortable you are.

Excellent teacher and very supportive
Daniel is an excellent tutor. I have a very complicated assignment and he was able to provide excellent guidance both on how to tackle this specific problem and how to handle programming problems in general going forward.Arturo, 1 lesson with Daniel
Daniel was very knowledgable of the information that I was interested in. He was able to explain concepts and real life examples of how what I was interested in learning is used and was able to clearly explain to me the process to achieve them. I would absolutely recommend DanielAri, 1 lesson with Daniel
The Absolute BEST
Where to even start?! Daniel was extremely patient with me since I have not had programming classes in over a year (and was pretty rusty)! Daniel went at my pace and was willing to spend some extra time reviewing the material to make sure that I thoroughly understood what was being asked in the tasks. This was one of the most beneficial tutoring sessions that I have ever had, and I owe that all to Daniel. Definitely looking forward to working with him again and will be recommending him to my classmates. Thanks again, Daniel!Samantha, 16 lessons with Daniel
An Amazing Tutor
So, I'm gonna make it clear. He seems like he's pretty knowledgeable about his subject matter thus far, even though he didn't have time to help me get past the whole assignment I had to do today (at the time of writing). He's a nice dude, and also a great tutor to be around with. I dunno how to describe this, but the guy has a certain charisma to him, and that helps make the sessions with him all the better, you know. :)Radames, 3 lessons with Daniel
Expert Computer Science Tutor
Daniel responded and set up a tutor appointment quickly as needed. His knowledge in C language easily addressed all the issues that I had and patiently explained everything that I didn't understand. Definitely would recommend him for computer science tutoring!Paul, 9 lessons with Daniel
Extremely knowledgeable patient and professional
It was an excellent experience to accomplish all my work and, learn a lot more about Cyber Security with his assistant. I'm very happy and it is worth it to use this Wyzant platform and their excellent teachers like Daniel F.Carolina, 11 lessons with Daniel

Explains topics well!
Daniel helped me understand what I was writing when I was writing it. A lot of the stuff he would say would make things in the past that I heard just kind of click, it was pretty cool to see him pull the potential out of me. Thanks Daniel!George, 2 lessons with Daniel
