University of Maryland (Business Administrat)
I am a Turkish native US Citizen and have a BS degree in Business Administration from University of Maryland. I have a true passion for foreign languages and have studied German, French and Italian during my professional career at NATO- North Atlantic Treaty Organization- as a project officer for eight years.
I consider myself as a highly motivated, enthusiastic and goal-driven educator with a solid commitment to the academic growth and development. I have superior interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to consistently individualize instruction, based on student's needs and interests. I have a military and NATO carrier combined for almost two decades. I worked as a project officer and instructor at NATO Headquarters, Brussels Belgium. I am very much accustomed to working in a multicultural environment that emphasizes inclusion.
My teaching approach blends with clear and simple explanations through many examples in grammar structures, reading, writing and conversation. I can easily adapt the language programs to the specific needs. My key aim in tutoring foreign language is to build confidence. I like to see my students to grow in confidence and competence in the subject matter. I particularly enjoy seeing the progress a student makes through the targeted language that one-to-one tutoring provides.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
