Waynesburg University (MSE Math and SS)
My degree is in middle school education (4-8) where I specialized in both math and social studies. I am certified to teach any subject k-6 in addition to 7-8 math and social studies.
I feel most passionate and confident in the math and social studies background. However, I am fully capable of tutoring science or ELA though I prefer not to go above grade 6 in those fields.
My goal is to challenge my students without overwhelming them. I want them to realize that they can be successful in whatever they set their mind to.
Being that I am a middle school teacher I am generally available any weekday after 3:30 as well as any time on weekends. (Though I do prefer weekdays)

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
