Although I have 7 years of experience as an English teacher, I am currently working in the city of Columbia as a Spanish teacher in a middle school. I am excited about teaching my native language combining the methods and techniques of foreign languages education.
I consider that the process of learning a language should happen in a natural way, the most similar possible as the way we learn our first language. I have tutored students of different proficiency levels in English and Spanish through games, conversation, and at every moment using the target language to learn while practicing. I look for in my students, to practice the new language through exercises, to develop their oral skills through conversations and to get an accurate grammar through games and using their favorite tech devices. I’m just finishing a master degree in educational technology, which let me combine the traditional and new methods facilitating my students learning. I hope my experience helps you to increase your enjoyment of learning Spanish, and close you to your goal of mastering a foreign language.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
