Anderson University (Early Childhood Edu)
Hi! I am a senior college student majoring in Speech Language Pathology. I have a passion for helping children that are struggling with school. I have been a tutor to children with ages ranging from 4 to 13 for three years, and I have loved getting to know students and watching them grow and succeed in various areas.
From the time I was in elementary school myself, I have loved school. I have had a 3.8 GPA throughout college, and I received all As in elementary, middle, and most of high school. Aside from the logistics, I simply love children. I adore being involved in children's lives and watching them grow through their schoolwork and through life in general.
I have loved reading since I was young! As a Speech Language Pathology major, I have learned the ins and outs of reading and grammar, as well as quality tips on how to convey information to children in a way that is fun and proactive!
Overall, I love the elementary age. I have worked with students in math, reading, language, and science.
I have always loved math and have excelled in the subject since I was young. I think very mathematically, and I am patient when working with children. I always make sure to never provide them with the correct answer initially, but rather to allow them to work the problems out for themselves as I guide them.
This area is one of my new favorites. I have gained immense knowledge while in school to be a Speech Therapist, and I have learned amazing methods on how to teach phonics to children!
I would love to help your child succeed in school and in life! Please feel free to contact me! Hi! I am a senior college student majoring in Speech Language Pathology. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
