I have a PhD in chemistry and having been teaching at the college level for more than 15 years. I also work as a scientist in an laboratory. I’ve always enjoyed mentoring students and helping people to realize their potential. Many students start working with me when they are frustrated with science and math and I’m able to turn their fear into excitement with patience, encouragement, and persistence. I’ve tutored students as young as 6 and as old as 50+. You’re never to old or young to learn something new and having a teachers mindset I’ve always enjoyed guiding students to better understanding.

I’m currently a chemist by trade and use math daily in my work. I’ve completed my PhD in chemistry and have completed math classes up to Calculus 3 in pursuit of my degree. I also have the patience to teach math to someone with a fear of math and can settle their worry.
