Emmanuel COllege (Biology)
University of Hartford (Master's)
I am a biological researcher by day and continually become inspired by fellow scientists and doctors. I hold a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Hartford in a Neuroscience program. I am passionate about medical research, psychological studies and books in general. I am an avid reader and I love to discuss the knew things that I have learned.

I hope to be able to provide students with the knowledge and insight needed to succeed in their career goals.
In addition to my educational background, I have 3 years' experience working in molecular biology research. I gained the majority of my knowledge through hands on experience. As part of my daily work as a research I am continually reading journal articles and learning about advances in science and medicine.
I am very outgoing and I love to make people laugh. I think that learning should be fun and I am not at all opposed to finding creative ways to make students understand and appreciate science. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
