I have been teaching Literature and Theater Programs for a number of years, especially when I was the Recreation Therapist at a Psychiatric Center. I have a real love for books and a reverence for the written word. I love getting my students excited about books and reading! I am looking forward to helping students not only learn about reading and literature, but also assisting those students in preparing for and passing their English and Reading Tests!
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. And I have been associated for a number of years with the wonderfully talented Rhode Island Shakespeare Theater, led by Rhode Island College Theater Professor, and Trinity Square Repertory Company Alumni, Robert C Colonna. I have also been the Performance Coordinator for The Mayor's Office in Providence R I as well as a guest speaker at an International Conference on Mental Health and Leisure, held at the University of Utah.
I Minored in Fine Arts and have completed all the foundation Art Courses as well. Sculpture, Study of the Figure, Painting, Drawing, Art History, Design, Illustration, etc. I have been teaching Art as part of my Recreation Programs at various New York Hospitals and Assisted Living agencies. And I truly enjoy exposing students to Art and Drawing especially!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I hold a BA in Theater from Rhode Island College, in Providence, RI. I received my Bachelor of Arts, as well as an Award for Four Years of Outstanding Theater Work In 1975.
