I have a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education, and can work with elementary-aged students in all subjects, and can help with study and organizational skills. Each child has a unique set of learning styles, interests, strengths, and personality traits - I enjoy the challenge of finding strategies that work for the individual child.

I have experience working in a public school setting, as well as private tutoring experience. I have seen quick progress using a structured, one-on-one setting, even with children who are having great difficulty learning in school.

Patient and Reliable

My son told me after his lesson today how much he liked his reading teacher. I really feel as if Emily is making a difference on a lot of different levels. I'm very happy to have her working with my son.

Very Knowledgeable.

It was only the first hour of tutoring but Emily seems to be very knowledgeable about how to help my 8 year old daughter to learn to read faster.
