I am a certified teacher in History and English for grades 8-12 and currently teach at the high school level in southeastern Massachusetts. I have 9 years experience in teaching and I have demonstrated success working with struggling students as well as top level performers.
Earlier in my career, I worked in Marketing and as a project manager for several different publishing firms. I believe that I bring a real world approach to teaching that utilizes not only my subject matter expertise but also my practical life experiences -- including a strong background in motivating and coaching people to reach their full potential.
I am comfortable with all History and English curriculum ranging from middle school up through AP level high school. This would include summer reading assignments, preparation for US I, US II, AP Modern European, World History and the typical books and assignments given in English I-IV classes.
