Are you in need of help in History? I can help. I attained my Masters in History in 2008, from West Virginia University. I then began teaching for Vincennes University through the Navy College System. I have also taught for San Diego College. While my focus for my Masters was the history of the Astronomical Revolution, I have taught classes in American History I (prehistoric-1865), American History II (1865-present day), World Civilizations I (prehistoric-1500), and World Civilizations II (1500-present day). My students have ranged from regular college students to active duty service members and recovering service members at Balboa Naval Hospital. This has provided me with the opportunity to teach students of all different backgrounds, and needs.

I believe that history should not just be the memorization of names, dates, and places. It should also encompass the concepts and ideas that both influenced and resulted from historical events. I always tell my students that history is the one subject that nothing can escape. Everything has a history and that history is never isolated. I believe that history should be fun and interactive. Once a person realizes how much history affects every day life they begin to crave more to gain a better understanding of the world we live in. Are you in need of help in History? I can help. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I possess a Masters degree in History from West Virginia University. I have taught college level history for 7 years. Subjects covered are American history I and II, and world civilization I and II.
