Roger Williams University, Bristol, RI (Creative Writing)
Dear Parents & Students,
I recently graduated from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI with a degree in Creative Writing, minor in English Literature and concentration in Global Communications. I have gained strong analytical reading and writing skills through my experience. I have always been interested in writing and the impact it has on readers. The way in which words are arranged on a page can evoke a plethora of reactions from the reader or listener. I spent the majority of my college career working for Crossings Yearbook, published through Roger Williams University in full magazine layout. During my years there I honed critical social and interview skills as well as expanded my writing skills. I also had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Copy Editor for Mount Hope, a literary magazine based out of Bristol, RI.
I spent my college career studying various forms of writing and crafting my own works to reach a higher level. I enjoy and take pride in my ability to revamp material to create a stronger and more readable voice. In addition, writing is what fuels me; I have the passion and would welcome the opportunity to contribute to your success.
