About Naomi

Bio

I've been tutoring students age 6-16 in math consistently since I was 15 years old. I am currently finishing up a degree at Vassar College. I had near-perfect scores in math on my SAT, a 35 ACT, was a National Merit Scholarship finalist, and completed both AP Calculus and AP Statistics (5 and 4 on my AP exams, respectively). In college, I have taken multivariable calculus, probability, and logic.

I've been tutoring students age 6-16 in math consistently since I was 15 years old. I am currently finishing up a degree at Vassar College. I love tutoring math because I believe that every student can not only learn math, but learn it enjoyably and with minimal stress, so long as it is taught with patience and personal attention. Not only that, but I think that discovering a "math brain" they never knew existed can be incredibly empowering for a child or young adult.

Fantastic tutor!

Super helpful! He's very thorough and good at explaining hard to grasp concepts. Very personable and honestly a really good person. Because of him, I feel much more comfortable with SAT equations and have a much deeper understanding of how to apply them. He gives a truly safe and helpful environment to ask questions, and is remarkably patient when explaining concepts. Overall, I cannot recommend Itamar enough!
