Education is my calling. Facilitating the academic growth of my students is my passion. My core educational philosophy is centered on a humanistic approach to teaching and learning. I view each individual student as just that-- an individual first, a student second. My ability to establish rapport with my students, connect with my students, and develop an understanding of my students serves as the groundwork which allows true growth and development to occur throughout the tutoring process.
I can meet your child's academic needs by providing private, individualized, and focused one-on-one tutoring for local elementary, middle, and high school students. I am currently certified a high school English teacher, and I have over a decade of K-12 teaching experience primarily at the middle and high school level. Additionally, I have many years of experience providing in-home tutoring along the Main Line and western suburbs. I am a results-driven educator that deeply values ownership, growth, and achievement.
I specialize in providing clear instruction and ensuring each lesson is tailored to meet the needs of each learner. I can serve as a subject tutor, homework manager, writing coach, SAT prep instructor, or college application adviser. My services can also be used in a variety of ways to support a student's overall academic growth whether through improving reading comprehension, grammar skills, content essay writing, college essay writing, organizational skill building, general study skills, or time management.
