My name is Nick and I am excited to offer French tutoring in the Philadelphia area. I am a French native and lived in France for fourteen years before moving to the United States. I enjoy working with beginners who are just learning the language, but also like to cater to people who have experience speaking French but wish to increase their knowledge/skills. I have a great knowledge of the French vocabulary as well as grammar and I will work closely with my clients to ensure that they comprehend the task at hand.
Having lived in France for an extensive period of time, I am very familiar with the French culture and am extremely passionate about spreading my knowledge. Additionally, I have studied German, Latin, Greek and Spanish during my academic career, which gives me a broad understanding of interconnected vocabularies between these languages. Since most of the French language is derived from Latin and Greek, it is very helpful to have some basic knowledge of these two dead languages . Whether you are looking for help with your homework or simply want to learn speaking this beautiful language, I hope that we can work together to achieve your goals, and I promise that you will not regret working with me! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
