California University of PA (English Literature)
I am currently a college student studying English Literature. I love learning, and I love helping kids learn and grow to love learning as much as I do! English can be a difficult subject for kids, and I am excited to share my knowledge with young students so that they can become the best students they can be.
I have experience tutoring second graders during high school, and other college students during my time in college. I'm naturally talented in English, and I am able to help with any aspect of the subject! From paper writing, to vocabulary lessons, to literacy and comprehension, I'm well-versed in the subject and able to accommodate anything your child might need.
English has always been my best subject in school, and when I entered college I was excited at the opportunity to focus my attention on something I have always loved. In high school, I took all honors English courses, and during my college time, I've taken classes that range from Shakespeare studies to grammar and editing. Teaching has always been something that I have felt called to do, and my love of English is what I hope to spread to young children.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
