My goal is to someday work in a professional environment using the statistical techniques I've acquired over six years of college. Until then, I feel comfortable offering my services as a tutor for those who need help in math subjects, especially statistics.
For those who may wonder about my qualifications aside from attending college, I can tell you that while I was in grad school, I was required to teach an elementary statistics course to about 40 students for an entire semester. I was able to teach in front of a large group, so I know I can handle one-on-one tutoring just fine.
While I specialize in statistics, I am also available for other math subjects, such as calculus and algebra. Math has always been a love of mine since I was young. It's important for everyone to have a good grasp on the subject because it is so vital to our everyday lives.
When it comes to the act of tutoring, I require a 24-hour cancellation notice, and that goes both ways. Communication is critical when tutoring, and I will never ask anything of a client that I would not ask of myself. Additionally, I will have to travel to a place of the client's preference, as I do not have a personal office where I work out from.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Algebra 1 is the basic building block of any math career. I first learned about algebra in 7th grade, and built upon my knowledge over the years. Any element of advanced mathematics requires some use of Algebra.
While Algebra 2 was not mentioned specifically by name, I took several "Integrated Math" courses in middle school and high school. These were a mix of algebra and geometry. Integrated Math I occurred in 8th grade, followed by Integrated Math II and III in subsequent years. Through those three classes, I have certainly learned enough of what would be considered Algebra 2.
I graduated from college with two degrees in statistics; B.S. and M.S.
