“**You have officially found the perfect tutor!**”

For the past five years I have been tutoring student athletes in the subjects of algebra, precalculus, calculus, and linear algebra, as well as in some Computer Science and engineering courses such as C/C++, MATLAB, Java, statics, and dynamics. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish and currently tutor students and student athletes in both

Edgardo is AMAZING! Not only does he really really know his stuff, he is also very patient as well as able to effectively convey concepts and information. He clearly shows he is dedicated to his students and does everything he possibly can to make sure they are successful. He prepares thoroughly for each lesson and is always readily prepared to answer any question thrown at him. I am currently taking a rigorous numerical analysis course that requires quite advanced programming. Prior to this class, I had absolutely no programming experience. I didn't even know what a bit was. I spent weeks looking for a tutor who would even work with me because they all said it would be impossible for me to get up to speed fast enough with programming in order to do the class. But Edgardo accepted the challenge and has quickly and efficiently strengthened my programming abilities. It literally does not get any better than this tutor!

Edgardo is an excellent tutor who is able to communicate advanced obstacles in Matlab to a beginner in a very clear, logical and intelligible style. His step process is very organized making it much easier to comprehend Matlab and he is extremely knowledgeable. Edgardo's expertise was not in the area I was needing help for, yet he was still able to resolve exercises I was studying for. As a result, I was able to take an exam feeling very confident throughout. I have no doubt I did much better than I would have without his help. I strongly recommend Edgardo.

Thank you Melissa for your generous comments! I wish you the best of success in your studies and everything else.

Edgardo has just started tutoring my son calculus - MATH 140 and was very detailed in his assesments, plans and overall feedback. my son is so far comfortable with him and hopes to improve his grade.

Edgardo is a fantastic C++ tutor. He's helped me achieve an understanding of the material beyond what is required for the course. Without his help I wouldn't have acquired the knowledge I now have of C++. He really knows how to compress several weeks worth of material within a considerably shorter amount of time.

Thank you Tiffany! I think half of my excellency and talent is due to your devoted attention and diligence. I will continue to do my best to reach the level of service that your kind words expressed hear. Thank you again, Tiffany.

Thank you, Edgardo. You did a wonderful job clearing up concepts. Because of you, my daughter is seeing calculus in a different light. It is now understandable and enjoyable. Definitely looking forward to a next meeting.

A tutor could not ask for any more generous words as a testimony of his work. I will continue doing my best to get you guys through this indispensable subject for a future scientist. Thank you, Erica.

He helped me a lot and he was available any time and at any place. He made me understand the material very well, and did his best to explain the concepts and lessons.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am qualified to tutor in MATLAB because I have worked with this software package and scripting language through several classes during my college education in Mechanical Engineering. One of my first jobs consisted in rewriting the course manual for the vibration dynamics class at Penn State. During my first formal job as a Programmer Analyst, I continued working with MATLAB by translating scientific algorithm from FORTRAN-77 and C/C++. In short, I have more than 2 years of experience working with MATLAB in a scientific and technological environment.

My Precalculus tutoring sessions take place one-to-one and online, during which I clarify concepts, respond to questions, and go over practices test exams with the students. Please, check my profile for a list Calculus and Precalculus courses I currently tutor.

I have been tutoring Python for 2 year in introductory and intermediate college level courses. I can help with fairly sophisticated Python topics such as OOP, setting modules and libraries, website data scraping, accessing externall CSV data files.

I use Python 2 and 3 and currently use the Anaconda, which is the leading open data science platform powered by Python. The open source version of Anaconda is a high performance distribution of Python and R and includes over 100 of the most popular Python, R and Scala packages for data science.
