About Robert

Robert C. (B.S.E.E. Penn State 1961) is an electrical engineer with 43 years of experience in systems engineering, test engineering and engineering management in the aerospace and defense industries. Mr. C. retired from Honeywell International as a System Engineering Fellow in 2005.

He is currently at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA where he is Co-Instructor, EDSGN 597C (Systems Design), EDSGN 497C (Systems Engineering) and Research Projects Manager, Systems Design Laboratory (SDL). He is assisting in the management of several research projects with Ph.D. candidates in electrical and aerospace engineering and is mentor and advisor to graduate and undergraduate students in the Student Space Programs Laboratory (SSPL).

Mr. C. is a member of the International Counsel of System Engineers (INCOSE), the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). He has published recent work on introducing system engineering to undergrads as well as developing wireless sensors for space systems.
