For anyone looking to learn photography, a little or a lot, I can teach you what you want to know. My love of photography started at age 10 with a Polaroid Land Camera from my grandmother. 40+ years and several dozen cameras later, I still carry a camera everywhere.
I've been a wedding and portrait photographer for over 25 years, was a photojournalist for a large local newspaper for a few years, and I taught a non-credit photography course at CCAC for a semester in 2001.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been studying photography for over 40 years, and have been shooting professionally for 26 years as a wedding and portrait photographer and for a year as a photojournalist. I also taught a non-credit photography course at a local community college for a semester.
I prefer to tutor because I like the one-on-one approach to teaching, so I can teach at that student's pace.
