Hello! My name is Nathan, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating high school as salutatorian, I decided to pursue degrees in biology and psychology with a minor in chemistry, and an eventual goal of becoming a pharmacologist.
I have volunteer experience as a peer algebra tutor during high school, but my real passion is science. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others to succeed! Furthermore, I know the impact that a great teacher can have on students. Learning should be about gaining an appreciation for a subject and its relevance to you, over simply learning the answers for an exam.
I am currently majoring in biology and psychology with a chemistry minor. Furthermore, I participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) in high school, during which I won scholarships, and advanced to state level competition. Lastly, I was the recipient of the Rensselaer Medal for outstanding math and science ability in high school.
Please reach out if you're interested or have any suggestions or questions. I look forward to helping you to the best of my ability!
