Bio

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with my Master's in biomedical engineering (BME) in 2016. I received my B.S. in BME from Case Western Reserve University in 2010. I achieved a perfect score on the math section of my ACT (I'm originally from the Chicago area, we took the ACT over the SAT out there). At CMU, I served as a teaching assistant for Introduction to Biomedical Engineering. I discovered a passion for teaching and helping students improve their understanding of the material through one-on-one and small group interactions.

I have always had an excellent understanding of math and science and enjoying sharing my knowledge whenever possible. I like to help out and teach/coach as much as possible. Through high school and undergrad I worked as an assistant coach for middle school basketball. I also was a camp counselor in the summer of 2012 for kids between the ages of 6-15. I am more than happy to help in a variety of subjects, whether it be to help better understand material already covered, or expand your knowledge beyond your coursework.

I look forward to helping out!

I received straight A's in high school math and a perfect score on the math section of my ACT. I took AP calculus in high school along with calculus 1, calculus 2, linear algebra and differential equations in my undergrad, receiving A's in each of my classes. I have been constantly using algebra in the pursuit of my undergraduate and masters degree and am confident in my understanding of the subject material.

I like teaching in a no pressure, low stress environment, where we move at a speed that maximizes your understanding. I am open most afternoon/evenings for sessions and able to travel. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to working with you!
