I love French! I am going for my masters in French and English with an ESL cert. and I want to help teach students that language is not only amazing, it is an important tool needed to function in our society!
I have experience teaching abroad.
I lived in France for a year teaching through TAPIF, a government program that brings non-native French speakers to France to teach. While there, I taught in both the middle and high school of a small town in Picardie.
Now I work at a local middle school as a French and English teacher!
This particular district loves individuality and so
I've been lucky enough to be encouraged to differentiate instruction for EVERY learning level and style. I have adapted lessons for students who have severe learning disabilities to students who had grown up speaking the language and are being reintroduced to it after a short time away.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
