She was a great tutor. We met in person every week for a few months and she was also available over the phone. She also responded to emails. Moreover, she knew the subjects very well and was able to communicate the information and concepts in an easily understandable manner. She also answered any questions I had with multistate questions including why one answer choice was better than another. She critiqued my essays which greatly improved my essay score.
Marguerite did a great job helping to refine my bar exam essays! She was patient even when I was having small panic attacks. Marguerite proved to be flexible in scheduling sessions but was often late (mostly because of traffic or other forces beyond her control). If bar exam essays are a problem for you, Marguerite is a great help!
Brings hands on experience with her law degree and her writing. Very critical of writings and assignments and gives good criticism and pointers.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I passed the Bar Exam in 2006 in the 90th percentile.
I have studied the flute for about 30 years. I play for weddings and other church functions. I studied privately at the University of Pittsburgh.
I managed to graduate in the top ten of my class in high school, cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, and made the Deans list in law school. In high school I ran cross country and track; in college I was in the marching band demanding significant practice and travel, and worked two jobs; and in law school I worked for my full scholarship, about 20 to 30 hours a week.
I had to develop a system to keep up with my school work and managed a very busy schedule.
