I got my bachelor's degree in math from the University of Pennsylvania and recently my master's degree in mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have taken all standard math courses at the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels. I got my bachelor's degree in math from the University of Pennsylvania and recently my master's degree in mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have taken all standard math courses at the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels. I would especially love the opportunity to tutor students in undergraduate math courses like real and complex analysis, abstract algebra, and linear algebra since I know tutors rarely offer help in those subjects. In particular, I've noticed that several computer science students have sought help in the last few days for theoretical linear algebra involved in data science. That is the kind of tricky to find help I hope to offer students.

To give you an idea of my teaching approach and what my sessions have often looked like in the past I offer you the following scenario which I have been lucky enough to experience over and over. Typically a student comes to me feeling very foggy about their subject, meaning that they have a vague hazy idea of how everything fits together and have suspicions about why things work the way they do but cannot clearly see why. They often have a test the next day or an assignment due soon and maybe just now realize that they didn't understand things as well as they thought they did. Often, this happens because the student just took a practice test and now realizes they don't have the conceptual understanding they need to ace all the true and false questions or to know how to approach a question immediately upon reading it, which of course matters during an exam. I love seeing the student's surprise one they start to realize how quickly the two of us are able to fill in the holes in the student's understanding. You can almost start to see the building blocks click into place in the student's mind about what everything the professor has been discussing for the last month meant. After an hour has passed, the thought in the student's mind seems to be "Oh, so that was it? That wasn't so hard". Indeed that is what I love most about
