I love tutoring because I enjoy getting my students engaged in learning new concepts. Tutoring is about teaching the desire to learn and understand through encouragement and positive reinforcement, as well as teaching my students the concepts themselves.

I applied to high school from Hong Kong so I have exposure to the TOEFL, although I waived the requirement due to my status as a native English speaker.
I have had experience in college counseling for high schoolers, especially those from Asia, given that I come from a similar background and now attend an Ivy League university (the University of Pennsylvania).
