My name is Ryan and I am a recent graduate from Drexel University with a master's in chemical engineering, Pursuing graduate school was a decision I made because I wanted to continue learning more about my field in depth and get a firmer grasp on the chemical engineering fundamentals. My name is Ryan and I am a recent graduate from Drexel University with a master's in chemical engineering, Pursuing graduate school was a decision I made because I wanted to continue learning more about my field in depth and get a firmer grasp on the chemical engineering fundamentals. Furthermore, I have always loved being in a classroom setting and the teacher-student dynamic.

As a teaching fellow at Drexel, I assisted approximately 135 students over the course of three terms and helped faculty in my department teach undergraduate courses, such as thermodynamics, chemical reaction kinetics, and statistics. Among my TAing duties, I loved conducting my office hour sessions the most. These sessions in a classroom setting, in which students with questions about their assignments came in and I did my best to guide them through problems and help teach topics in a different way than the professor did. It was always very rewarding when I could explain a topic in a way that the student could understand.

Over the course of my education and academic research work, I applied mathematics and statistics to solve various practical engineering problems. This could not have been achieved without learning the basics, like calculus and algebra. Taking higher level chemical engineering courses requiring more complex math skills helped me get a better understanding of various math topics to the extent that I believe I could assist in teaching it effectively.

I have helped teach various chemical engineering topics as a teaching fellow at Drexel University including thermodynamics II, reaction kinetics, and statistics. By going through the graduate-level curriculum, I have achieved a firmer grasp on all chemical engineering topics including some general chemistry.

My schedule is currently flexible and I am open to discuss the structure for our tutoring sessions that works best for you. I check my email often and will try to respond to you ASAP, but definitely within one day.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you understand topics in a different way!

Drums

I have played the drums for about 9 years, with 3 of those being taught with a teacher and the rest being self-taught through books and learning by hearing. I can read music and apply what I've learned through my previous teachers and my own self-teaching to help other drummers learn what works for them best. I have experience playing a range of genres from grunge/alternative rock, funk, jazz, and electronic music on an electronic drum kit and have played the drums in a band for a couple years.
