My name is Sierra, and I'm a computer science and mathematics student at Penn State. I have more than three years' experience tutoring late elementary through college-level math. Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am currently taking a high level math class so I implement algebra on a daily basis. Algebra is so incredibly important - it follows you all the way up into college level math.

I have taken two c++ classes. I have been programming in c++ for several years. I have written over 30 programs in c++.

I have taken differential, integral and vector calculus at a college level. I received A's in all three subjects. I have experience tutoring college students and high school students for the AP calculus exam.

I am a Masters student in Comp Sci at Penn State University. I know Java, C++ and am familiar with web development.

My degree is in analytic philosophy so I took college-level classes in informal logic, logic and analytic philosophy. I was a logic and writing tutor and a HS debate coach.

I recently reviewed precalculus for a class I need to take this semester. So even though I haven't been in high school for quite some time, these subjects are still very fresh in my mind!

I recently reviewed trig and precalculus for an electrical engineering class I need to take this semester so even though I haven't been in high school for quite some time, these subjects are still very fresh in my mind!
