“**Reliable and Knowledgable!**”

I am fortunate to have been born with quite diverse talents. A published writer who has worked as a computer scientist at a cutting-edge R&D facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as well as an instructor of Physics at UW-Madison and, most recently, an instructor of Creative Writing at Brown University, I have found in tutoring the perfect outlet

Jude is tutoring my son in Pre Calculus. He has managed to help him turn a failing grade into a passing one. 'He makes it so much easier to understand" is something I hear after each tutoring session. Great communication and extremely reliable. I highly recommend Jude!

he quickly came up with a plan even though i didn't have any of my notebooks with me and was still extremely helpful. I feel he will help me get my grade up.

Luis seems to be doing well, and gained back more confidence. We will continue to call Jude on for help. Seems like we are on the right track now. Very happy

Jude thoroughly explained Calculus topics, starting with basic concepts and then working toward more complex problems. My son feels more confident and seems to have a better understanding of the material.

My daugthter felt that Jude was knowledgeable and very helpful. He was punctual and got right to work with my daughter.

Jude taught AP Calculus with great ease and patience. His teachings go along with the kids comfort and guides them in a very planned approach. He finished the planned lessons on time and we are very happy with his tutoring, i would recommend him to all my friends who want their kids to love the subject they are struggling with and who need extra help in preparation for tests.

Took the time to understand my frustrations and found my starting point. Now I am enjoying learning the subject and picking it up quickly.

Jude helped with the understanding of the concepts. Without understanding the concepts you can't figure out how to really get the answer. He is patient and very good at teaching physics. Highly recommend.

I asked some problems that I had trouble with and Jude explained to me with details and I understood well! We also went over some extra problems! Overall, I felt very helpful! I really appreciated it!

Very helpful in improving and teaching understanding of the material, and guiding to the right answer instead of explicitly stating it. Overall, he is a very helpful tutor.

Jude is so enthusiastic to help his student solving the problems. Even the class is finished, he will email and provides all related information to ensure his student fully understand the subject.

Jude knows the topics and can explain simplified ways to understand. He has a structured approach for lessons. Also, flexible on scheduling.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

A math geek since 9 years old, I have scored 97+% in all major standardized tests. After working as a computer scientist for seven years, and a college instructor for four years at some of the most prestigious colleges, I both know the inside workings of mathematics and how to guide young people through the process of learning, and make it interesting.

A former college instructor for physics and computer science at top 10 US universities, including Brown University and Univ. of Wisconsin at Madison, I both know the inside workings of mathematics and how to guide young people through the process of learning, and make it interesting. While working with younger students I try to make it fun by incorporating math games as part of each lesson, which has proven to be quite effective.

Math geek from nine, I started tutoring highs school math since college (more than 20 years ago). As a physicist and a computer science major, I solved sets of partial differential equations by hand to keep my mind lean and mean -- and I can show you how to keep your mind in the most fit condition.

I scored 97%+ in all sections when I first took GRE more than a decade ago. I currently have several GRE students, especially for the Quantitative section. In my opinion, GRE math is actually simpler than SAT math, but trickier -- it requires a different way of thinking. I have been successful in teaching my students the particular ways of thinking necessary for GRE, as they all report significant increase in confidence in a few sessions.

I started tutoring high school math and physics more than 20 years ago. I also taught Physics at UW-Madison for three years, during which time I gave lectures, designed and gave feedback on homework and exams, and provided one-on-one consultations, in addition to tutoring physics on my own.

Having worked as a computer scientist for seven years, and a college instructor for four years at some of the most prestigious colleges, I both know the inside workings of mathematics and how to guide young people through the process of learning, and make it interesting. As I have a large number of students in AP Calc, while teaching precalc I focus on the concepts and ways of thinking that will be essential for a solid grasp of calculus later.
