Ishmail is helping me prepare for a job interview. He has a deep understanding of the specific biology related areas that I need to grasp to be successful and is able to effectively communicate them in a way I can comprehend.
Could not have found for a better biology tutor for my son. We are VERY pleased and my son loves him!!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Ph.D.from the University of Pennsylvania in Cell and Molecular Biology with a concentration in Genetics and Gene Regulation. I have taken courses at UPenn in Genetic Principles, and I received an NIH grant for genetics research. I also served as a teaching assistant and tutor for two molecular genetics courses for undergrads at UPenn. Shortly after receiving my Ph.D. in May of 2012, I was awarded the Tom Kadesch Prize in Genetic Research.
