I love to learn so that also means that I love to teach. I am an ESL (English as a Second Language) certified teacher and I gained my experience by teaching English in Bangkok, Thailand and Phnom Phen, Cambodia for about two years. That's where I learned to love teaching. Now I'm looking for a more personal one-on-one experience with tutoring. I also have an MBA from Temple University in Business.
I specialize in teaching ESL as I have taught all different kinds of people, abilities, and class sizes. Whether you're looking for reading, writing, or speaking. I can teach it all.
Math is my favorite subject of all time and I can teach elementary math, geometry, and algebra.
I'm not a strict teacher and I teach in a relaxed environment. Learning should be fun, but often times it isn't and that's when students shut down. I'm flexible with times, but I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Make-up classes are offered.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you learn some new things.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been playing piano in a four person band for two years now. I took music lessons as a kid, but not piano lessons. I consider myself an intermediate in playing and music theory. I own and operate a website dedicated to teaching people how to become better at piano.
I also believe that traditional "practice" or "lessons" are not the best way to learn piano. I want to teach students to love and understand their piano and all music.
