I have been preparing students for the MCAT both in large classroom classes and one-on-one tutoring sessions since 2007. I am a surgical resident and enjoy bringing clinical examples to the study of monotonous science in order to make things click. As a certified teacher with a Master's in Education, I also take into account your personal learning style while helping you to tackle the science that seems daunting.

I did well in the classes, but where I can benefit students the most is in my practical application of statistics to my research projects as it provides concrete examples of when to use each statistical test and what the results mean. I Also worked on a research project regarding the genetics of Alzheimer's disease. I have been teaching and tutoring MCAT, which includes organic chemistry, since 2007 and have had good results with my students. I received a score of 33 on the MCAT in 2007 - 11 in each section. I have kept up with organic chemistry as I have worked with my students over the past few years.

Great MCAT Tutor

Austin was an irreplaceable resource in my mostly self-study MCAT preparation. He was instrumental in explaining a wide range of topics that weren't covered in my pre-med courses, and did so in a very patient and thorough manner. I felt much more confident going into the test thanks to his help, and achieved my score goals on the first try.
