I am a third year medical student at PCOM who is looking to make a little extra money before the holidays. I have a degree in Chemistry and I spent many years tutoring General Inorganic Chemistry before starting medical school. I have 100+ tutoring hours logged via Wyzant. I am currently looking to tutor any high school or college students who need a little extra help in General Chemistry going into their final exams.
I can cover topics such as: nomenclature, balancing equations, oxidation and reduction reactions, electronic structure and notation, bonding, resonance, phase diagrams, solubility, acid-base chemistry, buffers, titrations, thermodynamics, kinetics, equilibrium, galvanic and electrolytic cells, etc.
I am honest, friendly and very knowledgeable--please feel free to contact me! I have a busy schedule but am willing to work with you to find a time to meet. I will travel locally to your house, to a public location, or we can meet at my apartment. Whatever makes you and your student more comfortable.

Anne Elise pares an impressive Chemistry background with rock-star ability to teach! Her beaming smile and inviting personality – combined with clear-cut explanations and examples for a technical subject -- make Anne Elise a favorite on our roster of WyzAnt tutors. Our son appreciates her ability to clarify the challenging course content in a way that “makes perfect sense.” I appreciate her ability to augment the classroom curriculum in a way that will certainly benefit our son during exam time. Anne Elise communicates in a genuine manner that invites questions, curiosity, and connections. We look forward to each and every session!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
