I am a certified math teacher in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I currently teach at a high school, but I also have previously taught at a middle school for two years. I absolutely love teaching. I believe in helping students learn mathematical concepts and develop relational understandings, rather than just memorize procedure. If you want you child to understand math and be able to do math, I am the right tutor for you!

Strong teaching skills, very careful, methodical, and capable. Kirpa takes time to fully understand your issue with learning the material and then works through the problem until you fully understand the material. Highly recommend.
Kirpa is a dedicated and committed tutor. She has patience, intelligence and a easy approach to tutoring. My daughter has expressed her happiness and is beginning to feel comfortable with Geometry honors.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am going to be a teacher in one year. I have tutored several elementary students as part of community service and private tutoring. I have tutored elementary math, English, science, reading, and study skills. What is important is the pedagogy of the way you communicate the method. I use a lot of technology and change my teaching according to the student.
I am a math major and a job description said that they needed help with elementary praxis math section. I already tutor lots of math classes and I am preparing for math praxis content subject which I am doing well in and taking in a month. So elementary level won't be hard for me to tutor.
