Hello. I love science and I also love helping others understand it, so that it is no longer intimidating. I have completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in earth science. I am currently a graduate student at Drexel University’s Goodwin College of Education. I have experience teaching and tutoring physical, life, and earth science to elementary and middle school students in Philadelphia, and I have Pennsylvania certifications for grades 7-12 in general science and earth and space science. I know that every student had his or her own strengths and weaknesses, and I will tailor my tutoring to whatever you need. My goal is to help you to learn, succeed, and no longer be afraid of science! Believe it or not, science can be fun! I can also help you with other subjects such as social studies and geography - I have experience teaching middle school social studies. I am here to help. Let's get started!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
