Keyona knew exactly how to help me through what I've been struggling with- tracing through java and debugging on paper. She's extremely knowledgeable and knows java like it's her first language. I'm looking forward to our next session.
Keyona has been a great tutor, very competent thoughtful and patient. With her help my son has made a lot of progress with his assignments which would have been impossible without her. Thanks!
Keyona is very professional. She is very prompt and knows how to speak to a student. What is good about Keyona is that she does not use terminology that the student would not understand. She is very good about the student taking notes and she will give you examples from the topic so that you will have something to refer to when you come across the problem again. She exhibits extreme patience. She does not spoon feed you. She allows you to answer the questions so that you will learn how to think the problem through. She is an excellent Computer tutor. I would recommend her to anyone.
Keyona is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. She is very kind and understanding. Keyona is easy to get hold of and stays connected. I'm glad she is my tutor.
I tried to find tutors for Microsoft access with little success. Tutors away, knew microsoft but not access. Keyona was confident saying we can finish this whole project in one and a half hrs. We did finish and I learned as we went along. She is patient and articulate. Not just in computer knowledge but in communicating and developing ideas.
Keyona helped me to work in a project using excel and access programs. She was really patient, punctual and professional.
Keyona was excellent in her ability to explain coding I was struggling with in Visual Basics. Within an hour tutoring session I understood material that I had not been able to understand in my undergrad course. I received an email back from her within a short period of time to set up a session and she was able to do so within the same 24 hours. I worked with Keyona by phone and she was able to have me log in to help with visual materials that easily had me learn the material. She had prepared ahead of time and did not waste any time needing to review my problem areas. I had worked with another tutor and can tell you that she is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone who needs assistance with a tutor in computer programming.
When I was trying to understand Java language in my computer science class in college I was having problems. When I came home I found Keyona on WyzAnt she looked like the right match for me. She really helped me to understand Java way more and made it easy to remember. I would recommend Keyona to anyone that want to understand computer science and get ahead in their class.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
