Valerie is an excellent tutor for accounting. She has years of experience in the field and has the patience of a saint. She is easy to get in touch with by email and alternate sources when establishing meet times. She explains the material incrementally and gives alternate sources besides the books given by the professors for better understanding. Valerie is committed to making her tutoring clients have more understanding of the subject matter of which they are having problems.
Valerie is very patient, always prepared for each tutoring appointment, flexible with appointment times, and always available to help anytime. Plus, she responds to emails quickly with your questions. Don't know what I would have done all semester without her. Not to mention, she is encouraging. I definitely recommend her as a tutor.
Kimberly, thank you for the kind words. It was a pleasure to work with you especially knowing that you were always prepared and was not looking for someone to complete your work for you. I truly believe that the best way one learns is to do the work and then have their tutor help them by explaining where they went off course. Look forward to working with you in the future.
Valerie really took her time in helping me understand. I came to the first tutoring session totally confused and now I understand everything. She is very flexible with her schedule and she is very prompt. If you need help in Accounting she's the one for you.
Thank you for your comments. Jonathan, it has been a pleasure in assisting you, you actually work the problems and ask when you are not quite sure.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
