About Phoebe S

Greetings,

I am absolutely excited to help your child or you succeed in the educational world. I understand what it feels like to struggle in certain classes. Gaining personal individualized attention is just what you need to ensure that you are one step closer to attaining your educational goal. Whether you are in junior high, high school or college, getting personalized help is just what some people need to make the grade. Stop struggling today and be sure to contact me!

Now a little bit about myself. I am a college graduate from the Pennsylvania State University in 2011. My major was Premedicine and my minor was Psychology. I have also had the opportunity to embark on other educational endeavors such as working alongside world-wide experts as a Research Assistant in Vision, Memory and Computational Neuroscience Lab. I also was a resident assistant to over 85 undergraduate students at PSU-Main. I have been a teaching assistant in the past year and was also inducted in the National Honors Society at my local high school. I also currently write for an online publication(health, wellness, etc). All of my experiences have provided me ample opportunity to become an exceptional tutor when it comes to one-on-one interaction. I also currently work at a research faciltity with children and science taste perception so I do have alot of experience in the science and dealing with children. By January 2015, I will be embarking on helping children succeed especially during midterm and finals week.

I also have graduate school degree in health education so I will be more likely to help you if needed!

I have completed all of the following courses successfully:
1. Inorganic Chemistry 1 and 2
2. Organic Chemistry 1 and 2
3. Physics 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Calculus and Algebra Based)
4. Biology (up to and including 400 level Physiology and Anatomy, Cell Biology, Basic Biology, and Animal Biology)
5. Math (up to and including Calculus 1 and 2)
6. English (up to 6 credits)
7. Health
9. Science based courses

With that being said, my major has given me the opportunity to become a premiere expert in certain subjects. This includes Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus 1 and 2), Physics (Physics 1, Physics 2), Biology (up to graduate courses including Anatomy, Cell Biology, Physiology, Botany) and Chemistry (Inorganic and Organic).

Also I do assist in test prep. This includes AP, SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, GED, and other specialty tests.

I currently live in the Philadelphia area and because I am currently a graduate, my time is highly flexible. I understand what it means to struggle in the sciences and math, but have accomplished what I needed to do to become a competitive applicant in top notch universities. I hope that I can share that same knowledge with you and your child, so you can succeed at being the best student that you can be to lay a successful educational foundation for the future.

Good Luck!
