Gilbert thoroughly explains everything and is generous with knowledge and resources. He really cares about math and my understanding of it! He is very familiar with the GRE and the structure. Excellent teacher.
Gil is excellent. We have used him to help both of our daughters prepare for all subjects on the SAT. He is always polite, on time, very patient and comes with a multitude of additional information that they can use to prepare. We will continue to recommend him to all of our friends.
I contacted Gilbert after taking the Revised GRE's and though I studyied from Kaplan and ETS books, I only received average scores. I knew that in order to get into graduate school that my scores would need to be much more competitive. Gilbert was willing to travel to meet me for sessions, he always came prepared with a myriad of materials to work with, and was extremely patient and thorough in his explanations. Through my work with Gilbert, I increased my scores from the 69th percentile to the 86th percentile. I am very happy with these results and found Gil to be a wonderful tutor. Thank you!
Gil is a great teacher and takes the time to make sure you understand. I was very pleased with each session and the progress that was made. He was always on time, polite and got right down to business. Definitely a great choice!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
