My son was struggling with his reading. After being with Tanya for only a few sessions his whole attitude has changed about reading. He comes home and tells me how much he loves tutoring. Tanya is very patient and friendly and has made this experience enjoyable. After each session Tanya will take the time to briefly summarize their session. She also gives me positive feedback. I am truly grateful!!
Tanya arrives on time and she is prompt with returning emails. I feel that she fills each hour of tutoring appropriately. She is always prepared and comes with study guides and reading materials so the student can work on her own in between lessons. I highly recommend her services.
I have been studying with her for a only a few weeks, but she helped me to improve my English in terms of listening, pronunciation, and speaking. Now I feel more confident while talking with people. Also, she is one of most friendly teachers I have ever seen, and we have a great time when I am studying with her.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
