I am hopeful I will make your learning both satisfying as well as fun! I am a certified teacher in Pennsylvania and Texas. In addition, I hold two masters degrees from Wilkes University. One is in technology and the other is in leadership. I have taught middle school math and science for more than 20 years. I understand the mindset of this level of student. I have also tutored students in algebra and geometry. Having served as my school district's math specialist, I am familiar with the requirements needed to be successful on standardized tests. In addition, I have done extensive private tutoring and enjoy the satisfaction gained when my student "gets it!" My tutoring on Wyzant for the most part is online delivery. I am looking forward to this opportunity to help you, my future student.
My ability to listen and desire to understand you and where you might be stuck, make me an outstanding tutor. I have extensive experiences in techniques that work and am willing to try various approaches to suit your needs. I will start with the basics and from where you are solid in your understanding while also addressing your immediate learning needs.
I have successfully tutored students who have been enrolled in cyber-school programs. I am willing to go above and beyond for my students.
Please contact me to see if I am a good fit for you or your child. Parental contact is requested before I work with your child.

I not only can "do" math, I enjoy math! I am patient with my students, encouraging them to do their best. I have a knack for "reading my students" and will not allow them to reach their frustration point. Although I also enjoy teaching higher level math, knowing that the foundational skills are often established in the elementary years, I am keen on making sure my students understand each skill, as it is often the basis for later understanding.

Fantastic tutor and very responsive to student needs.

Pam was very good about reviewing material with my daughter, and breaking things down in a way that made it easier for her to understand. Her ability to explain things in a way that makes it easier to understand and replicate has been very helpful.

Great Algebra I tutor

She was great with my son. My son is very shy with strangers, but not with Pam. From day one he quickly connected with her. She first explained to him how to use several online tools for him to study. Then she gave him some study skills tips, Then helped with homework and questions. She also gave him extra homework to practice.

Unbelievably good. Makes math worth talking about.

My daughter said that she makes an hour feel like 10 minutes. She can't stop talking about how much fun and how challenging it is. My daughter also said that she does a great job listening. Could not recommend more strongly.
