Hey, everybody! Hey, everybody! I’m an Engineering student at NCC and transferring for a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on renewable energy systems, so I’m always up for a chat about the environment and other related science/concepts. I’m 36 years old and spent many years working in restaurants so I’m all about customer service and helping people. I have been helping friends, their kids, and my two nieces with math homework and test preparation for years.
I am currently taking physics for engineering and Calculus 3 and have also gotten A’s in college level Chemistry 1 and 2. I am a very positive person, and can find many ways to explain and create examples of how mathematics applies to everyday life, making it easier to understand trigonometry/geometry, functions, formulas, algebraic rules, mathematical concepts, physics laws, anything in calculus, and more. I can make math and related subjects fun to learn but can be focused when there’s a deadline like for SAT prep or tests.
I have tested high in math for SAT’s: 660. I have received all A’s in each of these subjects and can easily show someone my college transcripts. I can also provide my professors email addresses for confirmation of my academic performance. I have many projects on the engineering club where I apply these areas of mathematics and could discuss them.
If you want to learn any subject in Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus, or Physics, I promise that I could help in an easy-to-understand way. I can show visual examples, help you see the real world applications, and explain the details.
I can do “crash courses” (a speedy version of instruction), refreshers, organized and detailed SAT ACT and test/exam preparation.
I am focused and determined to be successful, offering my skills and knowledge in bite-sized pieces so you can ACTUALLY LEARN the material instead of cramming.
